The 80th annual One World Day will be held on August 30, 2026!
One World Day has been an annual premiere event of the Cleveland Cultural Gardens Federation since 1946. It is presented by Councilman Kevin Conwell, County Councilwoman Yvonne Conwell, and Mayor Justin Bibb.
One World Day showcases nearly 50 diverse ethnic groups in the Cultural Gardens through music, dance, storytelling and much, much more.
It’s the only day of the year that MLK, Jr. Blvd and East Blvd along the Cleveland Cultural Gardens are closed to traffic so the public can explore the Garden leisurely. With free parking, multiple modes of transportation include trams and shuttle buses, we invite you to Travel the World @ One world Day.

One World Day | The official event of the Cleveland Cultural Gardens Federation since 1946
The Cleveland Cultural Gardens are one of Northeast Ohio’s oldest and most beautiful treasures. There are 38 developed gardens, designed and cultivated by distinct cultural or nationality groups, along Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and East Boulevard in parkland between University Circle and I-90 along the Lake Erie shoreline. The gardens feature tributes to the poets, philosophers, peacemakers, composers and scientists who have contributed to world culture. There are 13 new gardens in development, and in 2025 the City of Cleveland improved access to this landmark by adding 14 parking spaces on St. Casimir Way, across from the Centennial Peace Plaza.
