OWD is Historic, Continuous, Official, the one and only, imitated but never duplicated, Cleveland Cultural Gardens Federation event.\u00a0 Last year about 40,000 people attended throughout the day.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Visitors have the opportunity to visit (eat, drink, learn about, be entertained in, etc.) about <strong>40 Gardens<\/strong> &#8211; not just a few gardens or a small area.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The <strong>Parade of Flags<\/strong> will feature hundreds of people marching in traditional costumes of their heritage and carrying their flag.\u00a0 About 60 heritages are expected to march. The true Diversity of Cleveland on display.\u00a0 It\u2019s like the Olympics Opening Ceremony.\u00a0 \u00a0Cleveland Mayor Justin Bibb will be marching up front.\u00a0 Reporters\/anchors from the 4 main TV channels will serve as co-MCs.\u00a0 That\u2019s the kind of respect and cooperation that One World Day generates.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>An inspiring and moving <strong>Naturalization Ceremony<\/strong> will welcome about 25 new citizens from all over the world as a federal judge swears them in at 11 AM at the Centennial Peace Plaza on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, across from St. Casimir\u2019s Way.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Passport to Peace<\/strong>. Attendees can get a free Passport which they take to any\/all gardens and participate in a free, fun activity in that garden to get their Passport stamped.\u00a0 For kids and adults of all ages.\u00a0 Kids get a cool prize when they turn it<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>America 250 \u2013 To celebrate the 250<sup>th<\/sup> anniversary of the USA there will be special displays and information. \u00a0Each Garden will showcase three people of their heritage who have made significant contributions to America.\u00a0 Signs in each Garden will provide information and conversation starters.\u00a0 \u00a0For example, did you know that Andy Warhol was Carpatho-Rusyn?\u00a0 Or that Walt Disney had German, Irish and English heritage?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Variety of <strong>Ethnic food and drink<\/strong>.\u00a0 Gardens will have food from their culture or a food truck\/vendor will be stationed there. This includes some new ethnic food options as well as ice cream and more traditional foods.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Two Beer Gardens<\/strong>.\u00a0 Besides the popular Beer Garden in the <strong>German<\/strong> Garden on East Blvd. there will be another Beer Garden in the <strong>Irish<\/strong> Garden serving Irish favorites.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00a0There will be a variety of <strong>ethnic performances<\/strong> throughout the Gardens.\u00a0 Very diverse, something for everyone, unique settings. There will also be featured acts in the Centennial Peace Plaza. \u00a0Updated Schedule at https:\/\/clevelandoneworldday.org\/2026\/performances\/<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>International Shopping and Community Resources<\/strong>. \u00a0Visit the <strong>Market Place<\/strong>s for shopping, food and cultural resources. Market Place shopping opportunities have expanded as have the number of food trucks.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Getting Around.<\/strong>\u00a0 You can walk, bicycle, etc. but there will also be <strong>free trams<\/strong> circling the grounds.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The price is right. <strong>Free<\/strong> admission. <strong>Free<\/strong> entertainment. <strong>Free<\/strong> parking. <strong>Free<\/strong> shuttle buses from parking lot to the gardens.
